As a direct descendant of the infamous Hatfield-McCoy Feud, Benita let's you in
on a chance to know a thing or two about the McCoys. In fact, her great-great Grandfather was the first person killed in the feud; and his son shot the last shot with a Winchester rifle. She now has the lever action 1800’s gun from the
Smithsonian Institute Archives; which was handed down to her through her ancestors.
Benita would be happy these days if everyone who knows about the famous feud also knew about the Rich Culinary Tradition of her native Appalachia. Scroll below to find out more.
